GHHS is an organization that recognizes students and physicians that uphold the humanistic values of medicine. Projects included designing a lecture series for incoming first years on how to more efficiently practice humanism throughout medical school and organizing the annual patient solidarity day.

Student organization that explores humanism in medicine through engaging speaker events and volunteer projects that explore health policy, health disparities, and cultural competency. Responsibilities included planning the end of life care symposium, a meditation workshop by a licensed cardiologist, and an event delving into ethical challenges in disaster medicine.

Volunteer at a rural eye clinic in northern Honduras with responsibilities that include evaluation of patients with ophthalmic disorders, prescription of glasses, and aiding in cataract and pterygium surgery under the guidance of attending physicians.

The Lighthouse provides services and employment to vision-impaired members of the community. Participated alongside members in social/craft classes, assisted occupational therapists in development of members’ independent living skills, and aided in children's camps and goalball games, a sport inclusive of the vision impaired.
